I have gone through a lot of this type of shirt. Columbia, North Face, REI, etc.
I usually work in very warm and humid countries, so often sweating my ***** off. I need something that is stain resistant, easy wash, doesn’t smell and so on.
This shirt ticks all the boxes, and it has metal snaps instead of plastic, a higher and more rigid collar and cuffs. It has a slimmer fit than the previously mentioned brands.
Across the board this product is superior and I can’t recommend it enough.

Like the description says, it transitions well across different environments. I’m a huge fan of the “extras” this shirt provides and it delivers in every way.

This is shirt actually fits me! I am tall and this shirt had enough length in the arms and required require zero tailoring for a good fit.
The light stretch does not wrinkle even if you roll it up and jam it in a bag; Perfect f you travel light.
If you travel light, this shirt is good for going out for dinner but can be hand washed and quickly dries.

This is the only shirt that’s dethroned the now largely unavailable Arc’Teryx button downs. No logos or emblems, extremely subtle in all of the right ways, with just enough distinguishing class in the snaps and collar design to actually look professional and not like it was pulled off an REI discount rack or a pile of 5.11 trash.
It’s called the embassy, and that’s exactly where I’ve worn it. Shoulder to shoulder with RSOs in every kind of hot weather. Muggy 70s to arid temps above 100. It breathes, dries quickly, packs well, and looks good with everything.

First and foremost, the lady loves it. She thinks it fits me great and likes the way it feels on me. Does anything else matter?
It is comfy, while being form fitting. I’ve warn it on several occasions and just tossed it back into my bag without folding or washing. It comes out looking fresh and no stank.
I have not gotten super sweaty in it yet, but from what I’ve experienced so far, I don’t seeing it being an issue or taking long to clean.
Day to day or date night at a fancy steak restaurant, it works. Travel with one or two nicely folded or just throw one in your EDC bag for a just in case.

I’ve now thoroughly tested the Embassy Long Sleeve Button Up shirt and I’m absolutely thrilled. Here are my impressions in detail:
