More than two decades have past since I crossed paths with a man that would shape my views on martial arts forever; his words still guide me today:

He was larger than life character, forged in the crucible and context of a very specific culture.

The profile of the Triad Tree Trunk is well suited for working closer range strikes like hooks, elbow, knees and low kicks. It is also excellent for things like the conditioning the forearms.
