Rocket

The Rocket is Heavily inspired by Traditional Negishi Ryu Designs, but it has a modern twist.

Many of the Traditional Bo-Shuriken designs from Negishi Ryu use Lacquered Cord or Tassels as a way to to create drag, and stabilize the flight path in a similar way to how the fletching of an Arrow Works.

By Contrast the Rocket, and its brother the Missile are “Vortex Stabilized“; to our Knowledge this is the first time this has been utilized in Shuriken Design.  This may sound like hype, but if you listen carefully you can hear it working as whistles through the air.

So much fun! The Rocket makes some seriously beautiful sounds as it tears through the air.

Great for no spin and half spin, extra fun with the led marker lights.

The Rocket is a true hidden hand sword, I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in shuriken.

    These are Awesome!!

Very unique design, and really fun to throw. Negishi Ryu shuriken are often very difficult to find. I don’t know if the vortex stabilization actually works, but they do chirp (spin throwing) and whistle (no spin throwing) while flying through the air.

These take a bit of practice to get a correct throw, and consistent sticks. One thing I like about these is the feedback. When throwing any item, you get various types of feedback on your throw. The angle of the stick, how deeply it penetrated the target, it’s visual flight in the air, etc. Feedback with Bo-Shuriken can be difficult because of their small size, especially with darkened metal. This can make it especially difficult when your throws don’t stick. The whistles and chirps offer an additional feedback mechanism on these which helped me to supercharge learning with this style of Shuriken. I’m really happy with these, and would recommend for any shuriken enthusiast!!!

Whistlin’ throwers should be a team name somewhere because I’m definitely a fan. If there were a million throwers that all made a distinctive sound, I’d buy them all. Another great one for the collection.
